Wine and Mask Wednesday (Lush Fresh Mask Oatifix and It's Wine O'Clock Somewhere Pinot Grigio)

Time for Wine and Mask Wednesday - this week's theme is "Made in Canada"!

Here is a look at my Mask of the Week:
Lush Fresh Mask Oatifix

Lush Oatifix Fresh Face Mask ~ $9.95. Few things are more soothing than a big bowl of banana porridge, all sweet and squishy. Did you know the same is true for your skin? Sensitive, dry or irritated faces love Oatifix for its calming oats, softening mashed banana and ground almonds to slough away flaky skin. Keep in mind that dry skin doesn’t just occur in the winter! The sun can be equally harsh, as UV rays penetrate the dermis and heat can leave you feeling tight and dry. Use Oatifix year-round on sensitive, dry skin in need of nourishment to keep it flexible and soft.

I have tried quite a few Lush Fresh Masks before; but, I haven't tried Oatifix yet and am so excited!

Lush Fresh Mask Oatifix

This mask smells sooo good - like oatmeal cookie dough or banana bread! This smell is awesome as I am wearing this; I love masks that smell great! Ahhh... great!

Here is how to apply this mask:
-Wash face and dry skin
-Apply mask to skin
-Leave on for 10 minutes
-Rinse off well

Here is a look at Oatifix first applies:
Lush Fresh Mask Oatifix

This mask applies really easily, but it was quite a bit thicker in texture than I anticipated. It does not harden on the skin as it dries (most other Lush Fresh masks do and it can make them quite difficult to remove). This was easy to rinse off and made my skin feel really soft!

Now, here is the Made in Canada Wine I paired this mask with:
It's Wine O'Clock Somewhere Pinot Grigio

It's Wine O'Clock Somewhere Pinot Grigio ~ $8.99. A mouth-watering Pinot Grigio that displays refreshing peach and apple flavours. Hints of citrus lead to a crisp and clean finish. Easy drinking with a touch of sophistication.

This wine is made in BC, but I don't think they have an actual winery that you could go taste the wine at.

This wine is described as light and crisp and that is a good way to sum it up!

It's Wine O'Clock Somewhere Pinot Grigio

It is not overly sweet and finishes with a subtle fruit note. This wine is crisp and is an easy drinking wine -  it was pretty good. I actually prefer a bit of a sweeter wine, but this was tasty!
