Summer 2014 FabFitFun VIP Box - Review and Unboxing

I was so excited when I heard that FabFitFun was going to be shipping their Summer VIP box to Canada!! For Americans the box is $49.99 per quarter, and for Canadians it is $57.99 US - shipping included. I'm impressed that they didn't make the shipping charge so extreme like some subscription boxes! I used a coupon code FLASH10 for $10 off. So I paid $47.99 for my first box ($52.52 with the exchange rate!)

I must say I am impressed with the shipping - this was the last July Box i bought (actually not until July 8 & I received it on July 16). It must have helped that this box just came out at the end of June.

I looked at one spoiler that was a face care product for $95 - I was pretty much sold with 1 item almost double the cost of the box (always makes it worth while!)

Here is a look at all the goodies inside:
So many goodies!

Lets take a look at each of the products:
Sonya Dakar Flash Facial ~ $95 full size. Flash facial - 60 seconds for softer, plumper, younger looking skin. I just tried this and was a little worried using a quick exfoliant on my sensitive skin - but it worked great didn't irritate (the smell makes your eyes water a little as you apply) and you leave it on for a minute or two and gently scrub off. My skin was softer after! This recommends to use daily; however, I will mostly use it once or twice a week so i don't irritate my skin.

Pur~lisse Pur~protect SPF 30 ~ $55 full size. Lightweight, nourishing and anti-aging moisturizer with SPF 30. I love that this is full size & will happily use this all! I'm not quite ready to by myself anti-aging moisturizer; however, it's not to say I won't use it! I like that this has sunscreen in it - it doesn't really smell like it (maybe a touch) and is not greasy or heavy at all!

Balanced Guru No Frizz Oil ~ $25 full size. Said to control frizz and fly aways even in humid & tropical weather - I have not tried this product yet - but I do have fine, frizzy hair so this will be great! I have not tried it yet - I did read that it can be a little heavy so I will make sure to use it sparingly.

Zoya Nail Polish in "Maya" ~ $9. This is a light Coral color - in intensity it is a 2 out of 5 so it is supposed to be more sheer than what I am used to - I have swatched it in the photo!

FabFitFin Water Infuser Water Bottle (BPA free) ~ $15. Add natural flavor to your water - I have seen these before and never bought one for myself - but I am happy to use it now that I have one! Time to think of good flavor combinations, any suggestions?

Thursday Friday Away Mini Clutch/ Makeup Bag ~ $35. The style I received was "Diamonds Away" - I actually think this it cute - I am not sure if I will keep it/ use it as a clutch/ or use it as a makeup bag! I do have a few of these clutch/makeup bags now - however doesn't hurt to have a few and this one is so cute!

POPchips ~ $1.29 Salt and Vinegar flavored. The healthy chip alternative, never fried or baked. I have tried these in other flavors - these will be delicious! I will have to hide them from Mitch until I'm ready to share them with him!

KISSSTIXX Lip Balm ~ $5.99 for a set of 2. I got Strawberry & Chocolate flavor. Apparently you & your kissing partner should apply these before a smooching session - I get it Strawberry and Chocolate go together! That is probably not the purpose I will be using them for but they do smell really good and go on really smooth!

These last 3 items were listed as "sponsored":

Skintimate Shave Gel (Travel Size) ~ $1.99. I can't complain of travel size shave gel this will get used for sure!
Always Xtra Protection Long Daily Liners ~ $1.50 for a pack of 12
Slimfast Have Your Cake Meal Bar ~$1 - said to taste like birthday cake in a protein meal bar.

So for $50 I received $245.77 worth of products! Those expensive face products make this box totally worth it! I am excited for this quarterly box and am looking forward to the fall one - I like that by FabFitFun they give you well rounded products to have a little bit of everything!
